Greater Jefferson County Foundation presents money from Felgar trust

The Greater Jefferson County Foundation would like to announce a major donation for the benefit of the Jefferson County Fair Board from the Charitable Remainder Trust from Edd and Darlene Felgar.

The Felgars were long term supporters of our community during their lifetimes and have provided major support toward developing and building a new race way at the Jefferson County Fair Grounds. This track will be located to the south and west of the long-term existing track.

This new track will be in the conceptual stages and then implemented in the future to host motor cross, BMX and other events on a larger facility with new grandstands. The Felgars enjoyed the out of door racing sports and wished to help elevate and perpetuate this type of racing in the home county.

The presentation of a check for $250,000.00 was made by Renee Rebling, the executor of the Felgar Estate/Trust to Frank Redeker, outgoing president of the Greater Jefferson County Foundation.
