Hawthorne to present poems at Fairfield library July 7
A former resident of Fairfield, Jennifer Hawthorne, is returning this week to present several poems from her new book, “A Canopy of Stars.”
Hawthorne will read her poetry at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 7 at the Fairfield Public Library.
Jennifer Read Hawthorne lived in Fairfield for 28 years. She is an award-winning poet and bestselling author/co-author of nine books, including the No. 1 New York Times bestsellers “Chicken Soup for the Woman’s Soul” and “Chicken Soup for the Mother’s Soul.” Her books have been translated into 35 languages and sold more than 14 million copies.
