Ide Gymnastics attend pre-state competition

Fairfield-based Ide Gymnastics attended the Eagle Pre-State competition in Dunkerton on Saturday, April 15, 2023 with 30 athletes. They returned home with 33 first places.

Ide Gymnastics was proud to bring back four athletes with “hat tricks,” placing first in three events each, Ashlynn Adrian, Riley Lathrop, Brooklyn Ledger and Audrey Robinson. Jacob and Madilynn Wallace also placed first in both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline. Renleigh Forrett had a first place in both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline.

Bristol Sobaski placed first in Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline. Brayden Peck placed first in Double Mini Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline, and Kamryn Tharp placed first in Power Tumbling and Single Mini Trampoline. Other athletes receiving first place were: Katelyn Brecount and Avery Ledger in Double Mini Trampoline; and Randi Ellis, Alyson Lilley, Kiley Metcalf, Nadia Royer, Annalee Warth, Myka Wallace and Kaylee Wright in Trampoline.

Getting second place finishes were Kayona Krochak in both Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline, Chunni Bregenzer and Skylar Smith in Trampoline, Brielynn Tucker and Adalyn Williams in Power Tumbling and Iris Ballard in Double Mini Trampoline.

Third place finishes came from Dawson Wiggins in Trampoline and Power Tumbling, Kaitlyn Jensen in Single Mini Trampoline, Ashley Lyons in Trampoline and Charley Metcalf in Double Mini Trampoline. Leah Lathrop placed fourth in Double Mini Trampoline.
