Iowa State Bank announces new Assistant VP

FAIRFIELD - Aaron Kness, President and CEO of Iowa State Bank, announced that Rachelle Mitchell-Shadduck has joined the Iowa State Bank team as the new Assistant Vice President & Deposit Manager.
Aaron commented, “In community banking, it’s important to establish meaningful relationships and have a deep understanding of all the communities we serve. Rachelle is very talented and knows southeast Iowa well. She will be a tremendous asset as Iowa State Bank prepares to open our new branch in Ottumwa this fall. We are absolutely thrilled to have her join our growing team.”
Rachelle brings over 16 years retail banking experience and possesses the outstanding customer service background that will make her a wonderful asset to Iowa State Bank. She has been a member of the board of directors of River Hills Community Health Center since 2017, as well as an active member of other local organizations over the years.
Rachelle lives in Ottumwa with her husband, Chris. She is the proud mother of daughter, Brooke, and two sons, Von and Rhen. She spends her free time biking, paddle boarding, and taking walks with their dog, Scar.
