Iowa State Bank names new VP of lending

Aaron Kness, President and CEO of Iowa State Bank in Fairfield, announced that Bud Stickler has joined the Iowa State Bank team as new Vice President of Lending.

Aaron commented, “Bud is a tremendous addition to the bank’s lending team. He is a strong leader and one of the sharpest lenders I’ve known. Just as importantly, Bud shares our commitment to community and will maintain our customer-centered approach to banking – two things which define the culture of our organization.”

Bud comes to the bank with 18-plus years of experience in the banking industry, specializing in agricultural and commercial lending. He is a graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural studies and agronomy.

Bud lives in rural Appanoose County with his family. He enjoys spending time working on the family farm and supporting his son’s youth sports activities.
