Jefferson County 4-H volunteers host regional training

Jefferson County 4-H volunteers hosted other volunteers from Region 26 last night for their Annual Volunteer training titled “Creating a Vibrant 4-H” where they engaged in learning strategies to create a quality and vibrant 4-H experience that can strengthen youth engagement.

Effective volunteers provide the experiences and positive relationships that enable 4-H youth to become productive citizens, outstanding communicators, effective leaders, and successful learners now and in the future.

Completing the training were Jennifer Stever, Michelle Manning, Heather Pickard, Heidi Pickard, Amy White, Melissa Miller, Lisa Dohlman, Kolby Freeman, and Amber Thornton. We had over 40 people from Jefferson, Davis, Wapello, and Van Buren. Thank you to all who came out and invested in our County 4-H youth!
