Jefferson County Conservation hosting ‘Yaks & Ciders’

Grab some friends and come out for some ‘yaking on Pleasant Lake in Fairfield. This open house style program is on Thursday, June 15 from 5-7 p.m. Afterwards, you are invited to a stop out to Fishback & Stephenson’s Cider House for a free welcome cider to anyone over 21.

Participants can kayak around the lake during the two-hour window. Kayaks are first come, first serve. Participants 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Staff will provide boats, paddles, and life jackets-which are required to be worn at all times during the program. Cider House is walking distance (or a very short drive) from Pleasant Lake.
