Jefferson County Extension to host Trunk or Treat Oct. 30
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach for Jefferson County is looking for businesses and organizations to participate in their annual Trunk or Treat event to be held on Sunday, October 30 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Join in the fun by giving out candy, pencils, stickers, etc. to youth who will be dressed in their costumes.
In past years, as many as 700 kids have attended this event. In addition to businesses and organizations giving out candy to youth, there will be games, a photo booth, and treats for youth and their families.
Set-up will start at noon, with youth and their families attending the event from 2-4 PM. If you are interested in having a booth for this year’s event, please call (641) 472-4166 or email Jeri Crile at jcrile@iastate.edu. Set up for this event is free. Help us provide free and safe family fun at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds for our annual Trunk or Treat event!
