Jefferson County Park Nature Center to host ‘Owl Prowl’ Jan. 5
Iowa owls are pairing up in January, so we may hear romance in the air as we explore the woods at night.
The Owl Prowl will be held on Thursday, Jan. 5 starting at 6:00 p.m. from the Jefferson County Park Nature Center. We will start by learning the different owl calls of our area and even do some practice calls, then it’s off for a short hike.
Be sure to dress warm! All ages are welcome for this free event.
