Jefferson County Right to Life honors ‘40 Days for Life’

Jefferson County Right to Life and Immanuel Lutheran Church just completed its annual observance of “40 Days for Life,” which runs from Sept. 25 through Nov. 3.
One of the organizers, Karen Crossland, said this is a time of “prayer, fasting, and community outreach to end abortion,” and coincided with October as “Respect Life Month.”
On the first day of 40 Days for Life, volunteers placed crosses on the lawn of Immanuel Lutheran Church “in memory of the lives lost to abortion.”
