Lending Hands 4-H Club packs Carry On Bags
The Leading Hands 4-H Club members packed for Carry On Bags at the United Methodist Church as community service on January 30, 2023, and on February 27, 2023. Both times our club has packed over 300 bags for the local schools to hand out.
Our club members that helped on January 30 were James Warner, Ryan Warner, Taylor Miller, Jordan Miller, and Shaylynn McKim. On February 27, our club members that helped were Alex Hudson, Emma Cass, Jordan Miller, Taylor Miller, Ethan Cass, and Shaylynn McKim.
Some of our parents and family members helped both nights, as well as our leaders Heidi Pickard, Christy Conner, Michelle Manning, and Heather Pickard.
Our club’s next project is to donate a basket for the Annual Walk for Nohema on April 22. Our next club meeting will be held on April 16 at the fairgrounds. For more 4-H information, contact the Jefferson County Extension Office at 641-472-4166, or your local county extension office.
