Maharishi School hosts Generations Day
In December, Maharishi School in Fairfield hosted Generations Day. This event has become a yearly celebration of giving thanks to preceding generations of family and friends, where the school welcomes and honors grandparents, aunts and uncles, and special friends. Guests attended in person or online through zoom. The student body currently includes 35 third-generation students representing 45 grandparents who all live locally.
This year's Generations Day included performances from grades preschool through 12, showcasing what the children are learning at school. The event was sponsored by Washington State Bank, and each guest received a Generations Day coffee mug.
