Meet the Jefferson County Fair Queen Contestants

The 2024 Jefferson County Queen Contest will be held in the show arena at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, June 26. The Little Miss Contest will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Queen Contest.
Three young ladies are competing to be this year’s Fair Queen. The three are Alisia Brock, Chloe Frescoln and Kaleigh Adrian.
ALISIA BROCK
Alisia Brock, age 18, is the daughter of Alanna Brock and granddaughter of Linda Brock. Alisia was involved in volleyball, cheerleading, soccer, track, softball, speech, quiz bowl, FCCLA, FBLA, FCA, iStep, National Honor Society, band, and choir in school.
Her community activities include the following: Seniors Rising Ruritans Roadside Clean Up, puppy shelters, tornado devastation clean up, and Bridge Kids at Bridge Church. She graduated this year from Pekin High School with her Associate of Arts degree from IHCC. She plans to attend the University of Iowa double majoring in Political Science and Pre-Law. Her sponsor is Knupp Farms Inc.
CHLOE FRESCOLN
Chloe Frescoln, age 18, is the daughter of Richard and Kathy Frescoln. Her school activities included Future Business Leaders of America, FFA, FCCLA, FCA, National Honor Society, Volleyball, Track, and Basketball Manager. In FFA she participated in the Mother's Day Greenhouse Sale, was chapter secretary, Sub Districts and Districts, job interview LDE, State Chapter Representative.
In the community, Chloe is a member of The Bridge and likes to volunteer her time. She received her CNA license at age 16 and graduated from Fairfield High School this year. Chloe plans to attend Northeast Iowa Community College this fall and pursue a degree in nursing. She plans to complete a CRNA program to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Shawn R. McCarty Insurance Inc. is Chloe’s sponsor.
KALEIGH ADRIAN
Kaleigh Adrian, age 18, is the daughter of Joe and Melissa Adrian. In school, she participated in the National Honor Society, FCCLA, STAR Leadership events, iStep, Iowa Students for Tobacco Education and Prevention, FCA, Iron Chef, Spanish Club, volleyball, band, choir, color guard, speech, Cross-Age Mentoring, and Pekin Ruritans.
In the community, Chloe stays busy with dance, volunteering at the Richland Public Library, and Sunday school assistant at St. Mary’s. Kaleigh graduated from Pekin High School and plans to attend the University of Iowa this fall to major in biology and possibly minor in communications. She wants to specialize in marine biology. Kaleigh’s sponsor is Hollander Insurance.
