After reading about the pandit incident in Vedic City, my first reaction was enormous respect and appreciation for Sheriff Gregg Morton and the other law enforcement personnel involved. To the editor:
After reading about the pandit incident in Vedic City, my first reaction was enormous respect and appreciation for Sheriff Gregg Morton and the other law enforcement personnel involved. Their cool-headed, measured and professional response turned a potentially hazardous situation into one that was quickly resolved with no one harmed. And while Sheriff Morton credits good training for this positive resolution, his actions and those of other officials involved demonstrate an intelligence, caring and character for which all of us can be grateful.
