Outdoor Adventure Night postponed to Aug. 2 in Fairfield

Jefferson County Conservation has announced that it will postpone its Outdoor Adventure Night to Wednesday, Aug. 2, due to expected high temperatures this Friday, when the program was originally scheduled.

The event will run from 5-8 p.m. at Jefferson County Park Shelter No. 3.

“Get the family outside and unplugged for an evening of outdoor adventure,” states the department’s website. “Families will be able to move through different activities including kayaking, canoeing, hiking, fishing, and archery. All activities are free and are open ended so participants can choose which stations they would like to attend and for how long.”

Libertyville Savings Bank is the event sponsor for this fundraising event for the Conservation Foundation of Jefferson County.
