ANDY HALLMAN/Ledger photo Here is an up-close look at painted rocks at the FFIA Rocks booth. The group was started just last week by Emily Matteson, her mother Laurie Noll and others for something fun to do. The idea is to paint a rock and hide it for your friends to find. Participants are encouraged to paint the word 'FFIA Rocks' on the back, so that means that no matter where the rock is taken, people will know it came from Fairfield, Iowa. Those who find a rock can rehide it in the same place or take it somewhere new. Rock-painting groups on Facebook love to see how far their rocks have traveled.
