FAIRFIELD — On Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at 7:30 p.m., the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center invites music lovers, families, and community members to a spectacular Piano Gala that will spotlight the remarkable talent of Fairfield-area musicians in a rich, wide-ranging concert experience.
This year’s Gala promises an evening of vibrancy and artistry, featuring a dynamic program of classical, jazz, pop, patriotic, religious, and original compositions.
Performers include pianists Werner Elmker, Steve Hillis, Ed Kelenyi, Katie Ward, and Geoff Shaffer.
The concert not only showcases technical brilliance and expressive depth but also serves as a celebration of community-driven arts. The event is free to attend, with the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center welcoming voluntary donations to support the ongoing maintenance of the Center’s Steinway grand piano and the historic Barhydt pipe organ — instruments that are central to the venue’s musical identity and longevity.
“The Piano Gala is one of those special evenings where our community’s incredible musical talent takes center stage,” said Lindsay Bauer, Executive Director of the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center. “It’s inspiring to see artists come together to share their passion and keep Fairfield’s rich musical traditions alive.”
The Piano Gala is part of Fairfield Arts & Convention Center’s ongoing commitment to bring first-rate, locally rooted music to southeastern Iowa. We encourage music lovers, schools, civic groups, and patrons of the arts to join us for a beautiful evening
