Friday
10:45 a.m. - A verbal warning was issued at 12th and Carpenter for expired plates.
12:06 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of North Court.
12:33 p.m. - A civil dispute was reported in the 3000 block of West Burlington.
1:01 p.m. - Vandalism was reported in the 500 block of North Third.
2:24 p.m. - A juvenile issue was reported in the 700 block of South Sixth.
2:26 p.m. - Police saw suspicious activity in the 1300 block of West Burlington.
3:51 p.m. - A civil dispute was reported in the 700 block of West Stone.
4:58 p.m. - An animal concern was reported n the 2000 block of South Main.
5:12 p.m. - A hazardous road condition was reported at B and Kirkwood.
5:22 p.m. - Fraud was investigated in the 1000 block of South Second.
6:13 p.m. - Larceny theft was reported in the 300 block of Iowa Avenue.
6:30 p.m. - Vandalism was reported in the 400 block of North Court.
6:40 p.m. - Vagrancy panhandling was reported in the 1600 block of West Burlington.
7:55 p.m. - Police assisted the Mt. Pleasant Police Department.
8:03 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at B and Jefferson for a traffic violation.
8:17 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued in the 50 block of Morgan for a driver-side taillight malfunction.
8:53 p.m. - Police assisted a motorist in the 700 block of South Seventh.
10:41 p.m. - Police assisted the Ottumwa Police Department.
10:41 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Ninth and Jefferson for no plates. The plates had been purchased, but not installed. The subject was advised to install the plates as soon as possible.
11:24 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road for no plates.
11:48 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued in the 300 block of South Seventh for no plates. The plates had just been purchased, but not installed. The subject was advised to install the plates as soon as possible.
Saturday
12:20 a.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Second and Burlington for a malfunctioning driver-side headlight.
12:59 a.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Briggs for failing to stop at a stop sign.
1:06 a.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Depot for driving with no headlights and a malfunctioning taillight.
1:17 a.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Broadway for a registration light out.
1:23 a.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Sixth and Burlington for failing to dim headlights.
1:39 a.m. - Police checked O.B. Nelson Park after park hours.
2:57 a.m. - Police checked Waterworks Park after park hours.
4:25 a.m. - A citation was issued on Old Highway 34, west of Exit 210, to Kobey Dylan Durflinger, 18, of Eldon, for failure to have financial liability coverage.
6:42 a.m. - Police investigated drugs-narcotic violations, drugs-equipment violations and other offenses at Stone and 12th. At 6:52 a.m. - Alceides Manny Hernandez, 48, of Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with driving while barred, possession with the intent to deliver 5 grams or less of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and a drug tax stamp violation.
11:45 a.m. - An ill person was reported in the 400 block of Highland.
12:30 p.m. - An alarm was reported in the 2000 block of South Main.
3:27 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 2900 block of West Jefferson.
4:25 p.m. - An alarm sounded in the 400 block of West Briggs.
6:33 p.m. - A K-9 search was requested.
6:35 p.m. - Fairfield and Ottumwa police spoke about a missing person.
6:44 p.m. - A juvenile issue was reported at C and Kirkwood.
7:28 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Highland and Burlington for a malfunctioning driver-side brake light.
7:36 p.m. - Disturbing the peace was reported in the 800 block of East Burlington. A subject was reported screaming and yelling. Police and a worker at the address calmed the subject down and she agreed to go inside.
7:41 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Madison and Glasgow for a malfunctioning driver-side brake light.
8:08 p.m. - Police assisted the Iowa State Patrol.
8:38 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Third and Washington for no plates. The car was purchased that day.
8:53 p.m. - Police assist a motorist in the 100 block of West Burlington.
8:55 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Main and Lowe for expired registration. The registration was valid, but the new sticker wasn't on the car yet.
9:39 p.m. - Disturbing the peace was reported at Fourth and Madison.
9:42 p.m. - Disturbing the peace was reported at Lone Oak and Woodside.
10:01 p.m. - Police investigated driving under influence-OWI at 16th and Grimes. At 10 p.m., Leslie McCarty Jr., 52, of Fairfield was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense.
10:37 p.m. - Police assisted a motorist on Highway 1 at the Maharishi University of Management campus.
10:57 p.m. - A dangerous driver was reported in the 400 block of South Sixth.
10:58 p.m. - A dangerous driver was reported at Cromwell and Burlington.
11:22 p.m. - A fireworks complaint was made in the 200 block of North Third.
11:46 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 2000 block of Libertyville Road. Police cleared the basement. Everything was OK.
Sunday
12:11 a.m. - Police investigated driving under influence-OWI at Highway 34, Exit 212, westbound on ramp. At 12:29 a.m., Frederick Arthur James Carroll, 51, of Packwood, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated, second offense, and driving while revoked.
2:58 a.m. - An alarm was reported in the 1900 block of West Burlington.
8:48 a.m. - Vagrancy panhandling was reported in the 1600 block of West Burlington.
9:25 a.m. - An animal concern was reported in the 2500 block of West Burlington.
10:11 a.m. - An animal concern was reported in the 400 block of East Burlington.
11:21 a.m. - Police were asked to check on the welfare of a person at Burlington and D.
11:59 a.m. - A traffic accident was reported at Kirkwood and B.
12:05 p.m. - A K-9 search was requested in the 100 block of Washington in Batavia.
12:16 p.m. - Theft was reported in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road.
3:05 p.m. - Trespassing was reported in the 1600 block of West Burlington.
4:53 p.m. - A utilities hazard was reported in the 600 block of West Jackson.
6:59 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Fifth and Briggs for a passenger-side brake light outage.
7:18 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Van Buren for a driver-side brake light outage.
7:44 p.m. - A civil dispute was reported in the 1300 block of West Stone.
8:29 p.m. - An arrest on a warrant was made at 16th and Burlington.
8:29 p.m. - Police investigated offenses at 16th and Burlington. At 8:40 p.m., Lucy Maria Roe, 25, of Agency, was arrested and charged with driving while barred.
9:46 p.m. - Harassment was reported in the 600 block of West Monroe.
10:53 p.m. - Fairfield and Ottumwa police spoke about a missing person.
Monday
12:03 a.m. - Trespassing was reported in the 800 block of North 10th. The homeowner said something hit the box fan in the window. No sign of forced entry was found. Nothing was found in the area.
1:07 a.m. - An alarm sounded in the 2200 block of West Grimes.
2:35 a.m. - Trespassing was reported in the 800 block of Sunset Drive.
