The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:
Saturday
10:01 p.m. - Police investigated driving under influence-OWI at 16th and Grimes. At 10 p.m., Leslie McCarty Jr., 52, of Fairfield was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense.
10:57 p.m. - A dangerous driver was reported in the 400 block of South Sixth.
10:58 p.m. - A dangerous driver was reported at Cromwell and Burlington.
11:22 p.m. - A fireworks complaint was made in the 200 block of North Third.
11:46 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 2000 block of Libertyville Road. Police cleared the basement. Everything was OK.
Sunday
12:11 a.m. - Police investigated driving under influence-OWI at Highway 34, Exit 212, westbound on ramp. At 12:29 a.m., Frederick Arthur James Carroll, 51, of Packwood, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated, second offense, and driving while revoked.
2:58 a.m. - An alarm was reported in the 1900 block of West Burlington.
8:48 a.m. - Vagrancy panhandling was reported in the 1600 block of West Burlington.
9:25 a.m. - An animal concern was reported in the 2500 block of West Burlington.
10:11 a.m. - An animal concern was reported in the 400 block of East Burlington.
11:21 a.m. - Police were asked to check on the welfare of a person at Burlington and D.
11:59 a.m. - A traffic accident was reported at Kirkwood and B.
12:05 p.m. - A K-9 search was requested in the 100 block of Washington in Batavia.
12:16 p.m. - Theft was reported in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road.
3:05 p.m. - Trespassing was reported in the 1600 block of West Burlington.
4:53 p.m. - A utilities hazard was reported in the 600 block of West Jackson.
6:59 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Fifth and Briggs for a passenger-side brake light outage.
7:18 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Van Buren for a driver-side brake light outage.
7:44 p.m. - A civil dispute was reported in the 1300 block of West Stone.
8:29 p.m. - An arrest on a warrant was made at 16th and Burlington.
8:29 p.m. - Police investigated offenses at 16th and Burlington. At 8:40 p.m., Lucy Maria Roe, 25, of Agency, was arrested and charged with driving while barred.
9:46 p.m. - Harassment was reported in the 600 block of West Monroe.
10:53 p.m. - Fairfield and Ottumwa police spoke about a missing person.
Monday
12:03 a.m. - Trespassing was reported in the 800 block of North 10th. The homeowner said something hit the box fan in the window. No sign of forced entry was found. Nothing was found in the area.
1:07 a.m. - An alarm sounded in the 2200 block of West Grimes.
2:35 a.m. - Trespassing was reported in the 800 block of Sunset Drive.
6:31 a.m. - Police walked through an apartment complex.
6:44 a.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Ninth and Grimes.
7:51 a.m. - A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1000 block of South Fourth.
8:06 a.m. - A verbal warning was issued on Fourth north of Van Buren for a traffic violation.
9:14 a.m. - An escort was requested in the 2400 block of West Burlington.
9:55 a.m. - Police investigated theft in the 50 block of West Burlington. This is an active investigation.
10:16 a.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 600 block of West Grimes.
12:51 p.m. - Police saw suspicious activity in the 1200 block of West Grimes.
2:03 p.m. - Police carried out a search warrant/consent search in the 200 block of East Buchanan.
3:33 p.m. - Police investigated destruction/damage/vandalism of property in the 600 block of West Monroe.
4:13 p.m. - Police investigated destruction/damage/vandalism of property in the 2500 block of West Grimes.
5:34 p.m. - Harassment was reported in the 300 block of West Adams.
7:28 p.m. - A citation was issued in the 700 block of West Burlington to Tristian Robert Cole, 31, of Stockport, for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied.
