Sunday, January 19, is Respect Life Sunday. This is a time to pause and reflect on what has happened in our country since the 1973 Supreme Court decisions of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, which legalized the taking of the life of an unborn child (commonly called abortion) up to the day prior to birth.

A Midwest March for Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18 on the west steps of the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines. For more information go to www.iowartl.org and click on the Events tab.
