Our media in the United States has neglected to inform us of some very important information on the candidates for president. Most significant, I believe, is the attempt to blackout information on candidate Congressman Dr. Ron Paul.
Dr. Paul has received more donations from military people than all the other candidates combined. He wants to end our unsuccessful attempts at nation building, closing bases at about 135 countries around the world.
Dr. Paul is the only candidate who vigorously strives to end the Federal Reserve System that has systematically decreased the value of the Federal Reserve notes we call dollars, and to return the U.S. to the Constitutional system of money: gold and/or, more correctly, silver backed dollars which keep their value.
He is also the only candidate who really intends to shrink federal government to the size it constitutionally belongs.
I have a deep and profound respect for the founders of the United States. They learned the lessons of history, that governmental power must be chained down, limited, restricted by law to within its limits serve the people, or it would grow to master and enslave us.
Federal government now has its tentacles in virtually every aspect of our lives and economy. Government subsidies raise prices and costs and decrease efficiency. Government has taken over car makers, subsidized rents, tried to tax carbon dioxide (which we breathe out and plants need), subsidized medical care and education, failed to protect our borders, x-rays us to use commercial airways, issued us debt beyond belief, attempted to pervert marriage, set up unworkable impossible welfare programs, tried unsuccessfully to manage our economy, encouraged non-citizen voting, promoted and favored large companies over small, encouraged the abortion of over 50 million of our would-be fellow citizens, increased the breakup of families, and promoted godlessness in our communities and schools.
Dr. Paul is the ?limit federal government? candidate.
He would also even limit the power of the office he seeks. All recent presidents also have overstepped their bounds, getting us into undeclared wars, expanding the tentacles and powers of government. Dr. Ron Paul would faithfully execute the limited power of the office of Presidency of the United States for the cause of liberty and justice for all.
There is a lot of support in the country for a return to Constitutional Amer-ica, smaller manageable government.
