I am writing you this letter to congratulate you on the fantastic job being done to promote gymnastics in the Fairfield area.
It is wonderful to think there may one day be an Olympic Champion from Fairfield. It takes dedicated people so take time to mold our children into responsible adults, and Fairfield Park and Recreation has a large part to play in this process.
The short time that Gymnastics and Trampoline have been offered they have produced seven first place winners at Nationals in Florida, and five winners of the top 10 in Trampoline. These children are very dedicated, and I wouldn?t be surprised to see one of them go all the way to the Olympics one day.
Fairfield Park and Recreation has furnished a great place to begin the training, but the program is fast outgrowing the space provided. It would certainly be nice if room could be furnished in the new gyms being planned for the city. Gymnastics is a fast-growing popular sport, and I enjoy following the local team on Facebook.
