School board needs to re-evaluate position
To the editor:
Board member Jennifer Anderson should be given a big thank you for proposing a work session May 2 at 7 p.m. to discuss this opening and possibly redefining the job description of Fairfield's School District Technology position. Mrs. Anderson proposal came due to the fact that our school?s cost per student is 2 to 1 compared to other area districts.

Board member Jennifer Anderson should be given a big thank you for proposing a work session May 2 at 7 p.m. to discuss this opening and possibly redefining the job description of Fairfield's School District Technology position. Mrs. Anderson proposal came due to the fact that our school?s cost per student is 2 to 1 compared to other area districts.
The board needs to weigh the curriclum versus technology aspects of the position and find a suitable balance in the next person filling this opening.
The Public is welcome to come as a spectator or to participate. The Board of Education welcomes your involvement. All meetings are opened to the public unless noted otherwise.
