It takes great courage to admit you are wrong. To say that, after much research and study, it has been determined that mistakes have been made and steps need to be taken to ensure these mistakes are not allowed to be made in the future.
Since the United States Supreme Court legalized abortion on demand throughout all nine months of pregnancy in 1973, over 53 MILLION unborn babies have died in our country. This year will mark the 39th anniversary of the tragic Supreme Court decision that opened the floodgates and have cost the lives of more citizens of this great nation than all the wars combined.
With all the advancements in medical science, we now know that life begins at conception, that unborn children feel pain, and that abortion not only takes the life of the child, but wipes out untold generations that would have been brought forth from that unborn child.
It is time to admit we have been wrong, to ask forgiveness, and to put an end to the killing of our unborn children. Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is Jan. 22. We hope you will take this day to pray for an end to abortion.
May we all be as courageous as Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood Director; Dr. Bernard Nathanson, former abortionist; Carol Everett, former abortion clinic director; and countless others who have publicly admitted they were wrong, that abortion does take the life of an innocent unborn child, and that we must put an end to abortion and reach out in love to anyone facing an unexpected pregnancy.
