Trails to be enjoyed, not vandalized

Congratulations to Fairfield and Jefferson County on the completion of a trail system that would be the envy of any rural town! Many, many people have put a lot of effort into making this happen.
I?m privileged to get to walk a portion of the trails 2-3 times a week.
A few weeks ago, as I walked Cedar View Trail, I noticed a cement pad had been poured at the junction with the loop trail. As weeks went by a small, neat cement block building materialized and soon was complete with a roof and steel door. New restroom ? nice touch for the trail.
I assume this was completed two weeks or less ago.
As I walked yesterday past the little building, there was a paper plate taped to the door. It read, ?Sorry, closed due to vandalism.?
How sad that a person or persons would be so disrespectful of what others have worked for.
Vandalism only costs money and hurts everyone, while helping no one.
I encourage everyone to get out in the cool autumn weather and walk or bike the trails and enjoy the season.
