Will you be my Valentine?
Fairfield’s “Gumby” tree stump has love in his heart this Valentine’s Day. The tree stump is outside the home of Mike and Cindi Burggraaf in the 300 block of E. Burlington Ave. The Burggraafs have been decorating the stump for the past five years, and change its appearance every four to six weeks, often corresponding to a holiday in that month or a seasonal activity, like putting up Christmas lights in the winter or playing football in the fall.
