4-H Clubs, FFA compete in swine show
SIGOURNEY — The 2024 4-H and FFA Swine show was held July 19 at the Keokuk County Expo Fair.
Purple and blue ribbons were awarded to Harpyr Hinnah, McKinley Chittick, Maddyn Hinnah, Gamble Fry, Lucas Menke, Isaac Striegel, Brody Greiner, Taylor Woods, Madison Fry, Abe Axmear, Kimberly Clarahan, Kearney Greiner, Brody Seeley, Colt Reed, Brayden Wood, Landon Clarahan, Emery Hall, Colten Voyles, Drake Seeley, Teagan Swearingen, Lexi Swearingen, Maesyn Bain, Everett Hinnah, Levi Voyles, Trig Lee, Cooper Linder, Stephen Jacobs, Cory Clark and Kinzee Greiner.
Kimberly Clarahan, of the Lafayette Feeders 4-H Club, won champion swine carcass. The reserve champion swine carcass was shown by Colt Reed, of the Patriotic Panthers.
Kimberly Clarahan, Colt Reed, Cooper Linder, Madison Fry, Landon Clarahan, Colt Reed, Madison Fry, McKinley Chittick, Brody Seeley and Gamble Fry received the top 10 swine carcass award.
