4 starters earn all-conference honors
Rich, Allen and Hocker all unanimous first-team

Four of five starters for the Williamsburg girls basketball team received all-conference honors in the WaMaC West Division.
Three were on the first team: Carly Rich, Zoe Allen and Ava Hocker.
Rich and Allen have the led the Raiders in scoring this season, and Hocker has become an elite defender with a lot of versatility.
Rich has averaged nearly 13 points per contest, and Allen 11.2. Hocker is second on the team in rebounds (102), third in assists (44) and steals (45).
On the second team was Kennedy Skaggs, who is second on the team in three-pointers made.
The vote on the whole first team was unanimous, Clear Creek Amana’s Averie Lower was named player of the year.
The Raiders are preparing for their first state appearance since 2014. They play Des Moines Christian (21-3) in the Class 3A quarterfinals Tuesday at 10 a.m.
