A look at area state qualifying meets
Competition scheduled for Oct. 22-23

The Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released joint team assignments for state qualifying cross-country meets Wednesday.
The meets begin next week.
Class 3A and 4A meets will be Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 4 p.m., and 1A and 2A will be the following day at the same time.
In Classes 2A-4A, the top three teams and top 15 individuals will qualify for the state meet. In 1A, the top two teams and top 10 individuals qualify. A minimum of five individual qualifiers will qualify from each site not on a qualifying team.
Here is a look at each state qualifying meet involving area teams.
CLASS 3A
At Williamsburg
