Amana Arts Center presents Episode 2 of Stages

AMANA — TKM Theatrical Productions hosts a screening of Episode 2 of “Stages” by Jonesy McElroy July 26.
The original mini-series about theater and the many characters behind the curtain will show at 6 p.m. at the Amana Performing Arts Center, 39 38th Ave. in Amana.
Episode 2 introduces the new boss, Ms. Stone, who has some big ideas about how to whip this little theater company into shape. The rest of the staff may or may not agree with her.
The show is rated PG-13 and starts Lisa Margolin, Grant Blades, Rob Merritt, Marquetta Senters, Sedona Helmke, Zachary Greimann, Ben Macumber and Nathan Kleinmeyer.

An encore screening of Episode 1 begins at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m., ticket holders may mingle with Jonesy and the cast. Ox Yoke Inn will provide refreshments.
At 7:30 p.m., a backstage tour begins, followed by the screening of Episode 2 at 7:45 p.m.
Born and raised in Iowa, McElroy began his theatrical career at 16 as an intern for the Old Creamery Theater Co. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in cinema and literature from the University of Iowa, Jonesy moved to Los Angeles, where he spent the last 20 years working in the film and television industry, lighting photography sets for ABC Television shows such as “Dancing with the Stars,” “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.”
Jonesy is also an independent lighting designer and director for several well-known brands such as AT&T, United Airlines and Samsung mobile.
Jonesy also enjoys creative work as a portrait photographer, writer, musician and voice-over artist.
TKM Theatrical Productions is a charitable nonprofit organization. Co-founders Tom Milligan and Deb Kennedy, combine their extensive theater background in creating affordable entertainment with main stage productions, theater for young audiences, summer youth theater camps, and various life enrichment projects to numerous rural Iowa communities.
