Annual audit released for Williamsburg Schools

Terpstra Hoke and Associates P.C., Certified Public Accountants, has released an audit report on Williamsburg Community School District, Williamsburg.

The district’s revenues totaled $19,926,098 for the year ended June 30, 2022, a 5.3 percent increase from the prior year. Expenses for district operations ended June 30, 2022, totaled $17,144,803, a 3.3 percent decrease from the prior year.

The auditor reported four findings related to the receipt and expenditure of taxpayer funds. They are found in the Schedule of Findings and Questioned Costs of this report. The district was provided with recommendations to address each of the findings. Two of the four findings discussed above are repeated from the prior year.
