Annual audit report released for EV Community School District

Terpstra Hoke and Associates P.C., Certified Public Accountants, have released an audit report on English Valleys Community School District in North English.

The district’s revenues totaled $8,490,818 for the year ended June 20,2022, a 5.0 percent decrease from the prior year. Expenses for district operations for the year ended June 30, 2022, totaled $7,098,922, a 13.4 percent decrease from the prior year.

The auditor reported five findings related to the receipt and expenditure of taxpayer funds. They are found in the Schedule of Findings and Questioned Costs of this report. The district was provided with recommendations to address each of the findings. Three of the five findings discussed above are repeated from the prior year.
