Area residents graduate from University of Iowa

IOWA CITY — More than 6,500 University of Iowa undergraduate, graduate and professional students received degrees during May commencement ceremonies.
Megan Barloon, of Oxford, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history.
From Amana, Addison Brown received a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology, law and justice; and Jarret McElrath received a B.A. in computer science.
Derek Greene, of Williamsburg, received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Also from Williamsburg, Kaden Wetjen earned a bachelor’s degree in enterprise leadership; Megan Rathjen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in human physiology; Sterling Greiner earned a Master of Arts degree in counselor education; and Meredith Malloy earned Master of Public Health degree.
Cassandra Parsons, of South Amana, earned a B.A. in English and creative writing. Also from South Amana, Alison DeVore earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
From Marengo, Tammy Wetjen-Kesterson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology, law and justice; Sarah Graft received a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree; and Tara Bragg earned a Master of Public Health degree.
Cody Solberg, of Homestead, received a B.A. in political science. Also from Homestead, Drake Powell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sport and recreation management.
From Belle Plaine, Ethan Allie received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing; and Keaton Sherwood received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting.
Dalton Diers, of Ainsworth, received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing, and Madison Meyer, also of Ainsworth, graduated with a Master of Science degree in occupational and environmental health.
Amber Fetzer, of North English, earned a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree. Also from North English, Cael Hester graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
Carson Cheney, of Victor, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science. Also from Victor, Ashley Augustine earned a Master of Social Work degree.
