Area students named to Iowa State University spring 2024 dean’s list

AMES — More than 10,600 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the spring semester 2024 dean's list.

From Belle Plaine, Zachary Brecht, Tori Hlas, Steven Tri and Katherine Cubbage were named to the list.

Jack Smith, of Brooklyn, made the dean's list, as did Emily Cline, of Guernsey.

Grinnell students on the list are Nicholas Brennecke, Jonas Conner, Theresa Crawford, Alexander Crites, Kyle Dillon, will Doty, Alana Ferguson, Jacob Gosselink Livie Herbers, Sally Herbers, Isaiah Hirschman, Autumn Key, Jessiah Miller, Jack Nickel, Jared Nickel, Morgan Peak, Ethan See, Rebekah Veldboom and Tristan Willenbring,

Melana Blomme, of Hartwick, and Grace Mattes and Jackson Zahradnek, of Kalona, are on the list.

From Keswick, Tessa Fisher and Noa Sexton made the list. From Malcom, Paige Cottrell and Hailey Heishman were named.

Marengo students on the list are cecely Dominguez, Trenton Iburg, Nathaniel Miller, Emma Peters, Andrew Stevenson, Emma Werling and Leah Zuber.

Nathan Couch, of Middle Amana, and Montezuma’s Madelyn De Jong, Maguire De Jong, Mikayla Henry, Gavin Tindle and Haley Van Der Hart are on the list.

Also on the dean’s list are Abigail Cobb, Kaden Hall and Tyler Schaefer, of North English, and Micah Hostetler, Rebecca Ryder and Jesse Slater, of Parnell.

Spencer Karkosh, of South Amana, and Sage Coffman, Jackson Droz and Nolan Grove, of South English, are on the ISU dean’s list.

From Victor, Rochelle Thys and Olivia Vanwaus made the list.

Wellman’s Ariana Fleming, Alexa Huber, Kina Miller, Anna Nafziger and Jaden Yoder are on the list.

Williamsburg students making the dean’s list are Cian Bodeker, Olivia Caron, Carlee Cremeens, Cole Cremeens, Kaylee Culp, John Driscoll, Kendra Eichhorn, Erin Francis, Emma Malloy, Dalen Mueller, Lucas Reihman, Analyn Seeman, Cole Stephenson and Nicole Wardenburg.

Students named to the dean's list must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.
