Axmear scores 29 in EV win

English Valleys girls’ basketball started the week off with a win over Keota, 62-30, Tuesday, Dec. 5, then split games with Sigourney and Lone Tree.
In the win against Keota, Kennedy Axmear had 29 points and 13 rebounds for the Bears (5-2).
Game reports were not provided for the other two games, a 44-38 win at Sigourney and a 55-42 loss at home to Lone Tree.
The English Valleys boys went 0-3 last week. The Bears lost to Keota, 89-29, on Monday, Dec. 4, lost to Sigourney, 72-36, on Friday, Dec. 8 and lost to Lone Tree, 64-28, on Saturday, Dec. 9.
English Valleys is 0-6. State were not provided.
