BELLE PLAINE — Belle Plaine will host its second annual Cider Stroll Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Vendors will line the streets with a variety of items for sale, including pumpkins and mums, fresh breads and sweet treats, according to a press release from Nettiannes Floral & Gifts.
Many local merchants will have specials that day. The new restaurant, Udders Burgers and More, plans to service up special pumpkin shakes that day.
The family-friendly event will have children’s activities, including a petting zoo.
Parking and admission are free.
Jim Magdefrau and Grace Atkinson will provide live music throughout the day.
The Cider Stroll is a joint event put on by Belle Plaine Community Development Committee and Nettiannes Floral & Gifts.
For more than 10 years Nettiannes held a successful barn sale on her property in Iowa County which included vendors, food trucks and live music. After opening a brick-and-mortar shop in Belle Plaine, a similar vent moved to the town’s main street.
Last year was a great success, and organizers are hoping for even more people this year, said Nettiannes.
