Benton County Community Foundation to host workshop

BLAIRSTOWN — The Benton County Community Foundation will host a public grant workshop Sept. 11 to discuss the 2024 grant cycle.
Set for 6 p.m. at Blairstown City Hall, the workshop will cover the grant guidelines, budget template and application and will provide grant writing tips.
Individuals, especially those interested in applying for a 2024 grant, are encouraged to attend the workshop and should register to attend at cfneia.org/news/events/benton-workshop-24.
The 2024 FCCF application period opens September 1. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. Oct. 15.
Grants may be awarded to projects in the areas of arts and culture, community betterment, education and youth development, environment and animal welfare and health and human service.
Grants are available to 501(c) (3) nonprofit organizations and government entities. Tax-exempt organizations classified as other than 501(c) (3) are also eligible if the project is deemed charitable.

A local volunteer committee reviews the application from charitable organizations serving their community.
