Benton County Supervisors approve radio contract

VINTON — The Benton County Board of Supervisors approved a radio contract with during its May 13 meeting.
The project will cost $720,432 and is to be completed by July 1. The county has been using American Rescue Plan Act funds to pay for the service.
A land use hearing was set for 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, for Destructible Inc.
Benton County Treasurer Melinda Schoettmer told the board that her office will be closed July 17, for a Department of Transportation meeting.
Supervisors approved the abatement of $80 in taxes for #030-15410. This is for the house built by the school.
The board approved the fiscal year 2025 Suspended Tax List. This is done every year to see that the individuals still qualify through the Department of Human Services.
The board approved a temporary increase in the credit card limit for public health to $7,500 for the purchase of supplies. The limit will go back to $2,000 June 15.
