Brooklyn hosts theater camp
BROOKLYN — Children 7-years-old and older can learn theater and perform in an original show at Brooklyn Opera House this June.
During a weeklong theater camp, children will rehearse with theatrical professionals for a performance of “Johnny and Me,” written by Deb Kennedy.
Children will sing and dance in the imaginative tale that celebrates the power of being yourself, says Brooklyn Opera House in a news release.
Children will practice from 1-4 p.m. June 24-28 and perform the play at 7 p.m. June 28. Cost of the camp is $150 per student. Tickets for the performance are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
