BROOKLYN — The Brooklyn Opera House has planned several events to close out the year, including its annual holiday theater programming.
The diverse lineup of events includes local musicians, actors and tribute artists, bringing arts and entertainment to the community.
Tickets for all events are available at brooklynoperahouse.com.
Dueling Pianos comes to Brooklyn Nov. 22. The musical showdowns features two talented pianists who go head-to-head, playing all the audience’s requests.
Jake Simon and Blake Jack will perform Nov. 27. "Small-town road warrior" Simon, originally from Central Iowa, made his debut to country radio with "I Still Think About You" hitting the Top 40 single on the Music Row Country Breakout chart.
Following Simon, Blake Jack + South 35 will take the stage. Together they are a high-energy party band that plays mostly country cover tunes but brings the feeling of a rock concert.
Their set list includes everything from classic Brooks & Dunn and Garth Brooks to modern Jason Aldean and Eric Church.
They’ll also throw in a few rock staples from Guns N’ Roses and AC/DC, along with some original songs.
Brooklyn Community Theatre presents “Many Things” Dec. 6, 7, 8 and 14. This hilarious play, leveraging local acting talent, is about a mom who is working to make everything come together for a perfect Christmas, but nothing is going right.
Brooklyn Opera House is located at 115 Jackson St. in Brooklyn.
