Candidate hosts meeting in Montezuma
MONTEZUMA — Tommy Hexter (D-Grinnell, House District 53) will host a town hall meeting Tuesday from 6:30-8 p.m. to speak with constituents and talk about his campaign platform.
The event will take place at the Montezuma Memorial Building, 205 E Main St. in Montezuma.
After Hexter speaks, he’ll answer questions. A meet-and-greet will follow.
Hexter will address Iowa’s high cancer rates, diminishing state funding for education and continued erosion of Iowa’s natural resources from big corporations in this and other meetings throughout the district.
