CC Rox headlines Sunday Funday
LADORA — Ladora Development Committee is adding a Sunday Funday to its August schedule.
The kid-friendly event till be Aug. 4, from 2:30-5:30 p.m. at the Wayne Shaull Memorial Field, 804 Iowa St in Ladora. Visitors should bring their own beverages and seating.
Music will be provided by CC Rox.
“Slim Tim” Rice and “Hevvy Kevvy” Alexander have been joined at the hip since seventh grade, according to their biography. They played in various bands together for well over 40 years and will be inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in August.
