Celebrate spring with Easter egg hunts, Easter Bunny visits

The following communities will host Easter Bunny visits and egg hunts in the coming weeks:
Iowa County
Amana
The Amana Heritage Society will host its annual Easter egg hunt at the Amana Heritage Museum, 9 a.m., for children ages 12 and under. Cost is $8 per child. Tickets are limited and must be purchased before the event: https://amanaheritage.org/product/easter-egg-hunt/
Marengo
The Marengo Rotary Club and local businesses will sponsor the Easter Bunny’s 59th annual visit in the Marengo City Park from 9 to 10 a.m. Children can visit the Bunny on the bandstand and receive their tickets with instructions on which participating area business has an Easter basket for them. In case of rain, the event will be held at Iowa Valley High School. Enter the north door of the junior high wing. The child receiving the basket must be present in the park to receive the ticket to claim the basket.
Ladora
The Ladora Stora will sponsor an egg hunt and pictures with the Easter Bunny Sunday, April 2, at 2 p.m. at the Wayne Shaull Memorial Field Pavillion, Ladora. The second annual egg hunt begins at 2:30 p.m. In case of inclement weather, events will take place at Ladora Stora.
Millersburg
The Millersburg community will host an Easter egg hunt for children through sixth grade at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at the park. The Easter Bunny will give out prizes and be available for pictures. In the event of bad weather, the event will be held in the community center.
Victor
The Victor Lions Club invites families of the HLV community to an old-fashioned Easter egg hunt at the Waterworks Park, Victor (formerly Old City Park) on Saturday, April 8, at 2 p.m. All children through fifth grade are encouraged to bring their baskets and enjoy the fun. Children attending will receive a kite and a toothbrush after they have searched for the candy bags. The Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and leaders will help set up the Easter egg hunt.
Williamsburg
The Williamsburg High School National Honor Society has hosted the annual Easter Bunny visit in city park in recent years. No information was available from organizers at press time.
Benton County
Atkins
The Atkins Women’s Club will host an Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at Atkins City Park for kids through age 9. Participants should bring a basket for the egg hunt. Each age division will have one gold egg to find. Be sure to take it to the Easter Bunny to claim a prize. Treats will be provided.
Belle Plaine
The Belle Plaine High School FFA Chapter will host an Easter egg hunt for children in third grade and younger at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8, at Franklin Park, Belle Plaine.
Blairstown
The Blairstown Recreation Board and Blairstown Community Foundation Easter Egg Hunt and Bunny visit will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 8, at the Blairstown ball diamond, including photos with the Easter Bunny and over 3,000 eggs, gift bags. Rain location is the Blairstown Community Center.
Newhall
The Newhall Easter egg hunt will be held Saturday, April 8, at the Newhall Ball Diamonds. The hunt starts at 10 a.m. sharp and the Easter Bunny will be there for pictures. The event is sponsored by the Newhall Lions Club.
