Central College students take on community projects

PELLA — Central College students will help service organizations this spring to build civic engagement.
Among the 115 students participating are Dylann Huyser, of Lynnville, who will help Pathways of Pella with a communication health and illness project.
Brock Beck, of Grinnell, will help Rock Steady Boxing with a Disability in American project in Palle.
Hunter Clemman, of Tama, will work with St. Vincent de Paul on an introduction to social work project in Des Moines.
Emory Clements, of Grinnell, will help Park Centre with a communicating health and illness project in Newton.
Daysi Harris, of Grinnell, will help The Well-Knoxville with an introduction to social work project.
Nathan Kolesar, of Victor, and Eli Rose, of Grinnell, are helping Pella High School with an adapted physical education project.
Kassidi Steel, of New Sharon, is helping Christian Opportunity Center with a disability in American project in Pella.
Ryleigh Van Den Heuvel, of Keswick, is helping AgArts with a food justice project in Kalona.
Leah Bontrager, of Wellman, will assist Oakridge Neighborhood Services with a human relations project in Des Moines.
April Perry, of South Amana, will help Madison Elementary Counseling with an introduction to social work project in Pella.
