WILLIAMSBURG — A trick-or-trunk event on the Williamsburg square begins a succession of holiday events planned by the Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce.
Preceding with the City of Williamsburg trick-or-treat hours, the trick or trunk will take place around the square from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.
Navigation Play will have games for children in the park.
Post-election, the Chamber has planned a Mom’s Night Out in the basement of the Williamsburg Public Library for Thursday, Nov. 7 from 7-9 p.
The Chamber hosted a Mom’s Night Out in April, said Chamber Director Erin Eichhorn, and turn out was good. Nearly 30 women showed up.
The event features local spas, snacks and mocktails. It’s a way for mothers to network, said Eichhorn.
The annual Night on the Square is set for Friday, Nov. 22. Last year 21 businesses had their names on the passports that customers had stamped during the evening, said Eichhorn, substantially more than the 11 who signed up the first year.
Eichhorn expects more businesses to take part this year.
Residents can shop, eat, drink, take a wagon ride and mingle on the square from 5-8 p.m.
The Chamber is bringing back the Christmas house walk this year. Scheduled for Dec. 13-14, the event will take residents to several Williamsburg homes for a look at their Holiday decorations.
Homes have not been lined up yet for the tour.
