Clinton man arrested for railroad burglary

HOMESTEAD — A Clinton man was arrested Tuesday for burglarizing a railroad maintenance facility in Homestead.
The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department reported Tuesday that deputies and Williamsburg police responded to a call about 4:20 a.m. March 18 at the Iowa Interstate Railroad maintenance facility near Homestead.
Railroad employees reported having seen a man inside a locomotive parked in the facility.
Justen M. Linker, 35, of Clinton, was taken into custody. He’s been charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief and interference with official acts and, as of Tuesday, was being held in the Iowa County Jail awaiting an initial court appearance, according to the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department.
