Community Fun Run set for November

GRINNELL — UnityPoint Health—Grinnell is gearing up for a Unity in the Community Fun Run, a family-friendly event designed to promote health, wellness and a sense of togetherness.

The event will take place Nov. 9 at 9 a.m. in Central Park in Grinnell.

Participants can choose between a 5K run or a 3K walk, making the event accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels.

Each participant, including children, are required to register. Note that the race contains areas of community traffic. All children must be accompanied during the race.

The cost is $10 per person, and participants who register on or before Oct. 25 will be guaranteed a race T-shirt.

On Nov. 9, participants can pick up their race day bags from 7:30-8:30 a.m. The bags will include race chips that will be used to time each runner or walker during the race.
