WILLIAMSBURG — Looking to spice up your summer? Eager to meet new friends and try delicious new dishes?
Join us every month on the third Wednesday at noon in the lower level-large meeting room for our lively "Cook the Book" event. It’s the perfect opportunity to swap recipes, share cooking tips, and enjoy great company.
Here’s how it works: Swing by the Williamsburg Public Library, pick a recipe from our featured cookbook, prepare your dish and bring it along to share with the group.
Our next gathering is Wednesday, July 17 from noon to 1:15 p.m.
Rainwater harvesting
On Saturday, July 13 at 1 p.m., we’ll be hosting "Rainwater Harvesting: Barrel of Benefits" in the large meeting room on the lower level of the library.
This free event will teach how to collect rainwater and use it to create a stunning, eco-friendly garden.
For more information about either event, contact Sandy Jones, adult services librarian, at 319-668-1195.
