Democrats host fundraiser at Price Creek

AMANA — The Iowa County Democrats hosted a fundraising dinner at the Price Creek Event Center in Amana Sept. 22.
Featured candidates included Christina Bohannan (U.S. House), Ed Chabal (Iowa Senate), Jay Gorsh (Iowa House) and Jason Grimm (Iowa County Supervisor).
The event gave Iowa County residents a chance to hear candidates speak and to talk to them in person.
The event featured a dinner, a silent auction and raffle tickets. Many items were donated by local businesses.
An Iowa County farmer donated half a beef for the silent auction, and a Williamsburg artist’s pet portrait offer received the highest bid in the silent auction.
