Dental office celebrates reopening

MARENGO — Iowa Valley Dental Health celebrated its reopening after flooding closed the office at 599 Eastern Ave. last year.
The dental office reopened in January, dentist Tiffany Sherock said. Sherock, staff members and owner Dr. Megan Grier, who also operates Williamsburg Dental Health, welcomed the community to an open house and ribbon-cutting March 27.
A pipe burst last year, said Grier, and the building had to be gutted. Grier purchased the office from Terry Babor, who retired last year. She’d planned to remodel the office in phases, but the water damage forced her to redo the entire office.
“We’re really proud of how it turned out,” said Grier. The project created space that will allow the business to grow its children’s services and make use of the most modern technology.
The staff is the same, said Sherock, but equipment has been upgraded and the office has more space for patients, which means faster turnaround times.
Iowa Valley Dental is always taking new patients, said Sherock, for comprehensive and emergency care.
